It Keeps Crashing

Software that crashes is generally considered a bad thing. If you experience a crash or if you think iFeelPixel™ TactileWare causes a crash in some other application, let us know! Please include as much information as you can about your system specifications, the steps that seem to consistently cause the crash and a list of other applications running at the time of the crash. This will help us immensely in tracking down the bug. You can use the bug report tool.
See: Help >> Bug Report

An error handler has been added to the software.
Maybe you'll get an error dialog box, for example:

Tip for Windows users:
While the error might not mean much to you, the information in the dialog box can be very helpful to tech support people you might call about the problem. While your helpers don't need to see the actual dialog box, they do need to know what the dialog box said. An easy way to get that info is to click on the dialog box, then hold down the CTRL key and then press the C key (CTRL+C). This copies the contents of the dialog box to the clipboard. Now you can paste the text into an email message by using CTRL+V or by using the PASTE command.

Please report any bug. Thanks!

Microphone headsets

ViviTouch Headphone
Headset Haptic Technology

Microphone headsets may not run at the same time with iFeelPixel depending on your sound card. iFeelPixel appears to run fine with microphone headsets using later sound cards, but not all sound cards will support headsets with iFeelPixel.

We recommend you to use headsets with ViviTouch or Lofelt Technology. You may disable the Microphone headset to improve the sound quality.

iFeelPixel crashes when I play video or audio (ActiveMovie crashes)

iFeelPixel may crash because you don't have the proper codecs installed to play the file, or they are improperly installed. If this is the case, remove existing codec packages (such as Nimo) and download the Microsoft Windows Media player. It should work well for playing back video and audio files.

Know issues:
"QUARTZ.DLL" causes crashes. It seems to be an audio/video decoder. Apparently there is a number of problems with older versions of the file, so you might want to try and find a newer one.

Alternative install:

Audio Issues with CpuIdle

Weird cracks in music with RMClock enabled

1. My audio is all scratchy when CpuIdle (or RMclock) is running.
2. When I run CpuIdle (or RMclock) I hear terrible static noise or buzzing sound through the speakers attached to my sound card. What's up?
ImmRAPIStub.exe Crash

You receive a generic error when you use iFeelPixel with a tactile mobile phone and you try to exit out of the software.

Solution: close the ImmRAPIStub error window, next time you start the application, try to increase or decrease priority.
